Welcome to
Building Science Innovators
We bring a unique combination of scientific, engineering and architectural knowledge and experience to bear on your building's problem.  We are a consulting firm that employs industry-standard and creative strategies to resolve energy, moisture and durability issues.  We embrace the conventional and specialize in the unusual.  Over the years, we have worked in both the public and private sectors, including governmental agencies, the renewable energy industry, non-profits and advocacy organizations.

BSI is also very proud of its innovations both in Primary Energy Conservation, that go beyond energy efficiency, as well as in electricity economics, especially the Customer Lowered Electricity Price (CLEP) prototype.  To these ends, we have created program and policy solutions that will greatly reduce usage and increase financial opportunities (or recompense) for consumers, electric utilities and regulators, building design professionals, and manufacturers of appliances and other electrical equipment used in buildings.

Building Energy Design Solutions

Within our Clients and Services pages you'll find numerous building challenges BSI has taken on for various commercial and residential clients.

Moisture or Health Problems?

BSI has the latest moisture analysis tools  We consider the relationship between all building systems when devising solutions that protect human health, safety and comfort and building durability.  One federal government sub-contract required a solution that would last at least 70 years.  We innovate creative strategies to deal with challenging situations.

Electric Utilities,  Regulators, Customers, Appliance Manufacturers & Building Designers

Interested in lowering energy bills in ways that go far beyond Energy Efficiency?  We have tools you’ve probably never heard of which greatly lower costs but may not even reduce usage – and in many cases, we’re talking very big cash flows
